"Parangul Mare" Mountain Sports Festival- a story for everyone

The “Parangul Mare” Mountain Sports Festival was the fourth stage of the Stfaeta Muntilor National Championship and gathered over 300 people from all over the country at the beginning of August 2013 at the Groapa Seaca Chalet, located in the Parang Mountains, people who could compete in various activities. with mountain specific.

The “Parangul Mare” Mountain Sports Festival, as a feature film that took place for 3 days in the Parang Mountains, was a real success for promoting Romanian tourism and for educating young people in a green spirit, by offering party opportunities of free time in nature.

Those who arrived in large numbers participated as teams, formed as follows: children accompanied by adults, juniors, families and experienced people.

The children who signed up for their category were able to learn how to navigate the forest with the help of a compass, what a hike is and how to climb, what a united team means, recited poems, sang and played theater.

The first day of the festival was dedicated to waiting for the participants and lighting the campfire.

The next day was full of surprises for the little ones: a 6-year-old girl, a member of the Jnepenii team, organized creative activities exclusively for and with the children who arrived at the camp.

The adults also had many activities, including a hike that aimed to cover a mountain route: Agatat Refuge - Rosiile Rock - Zanoaga Stanei Lake - Lung Lake - Rosiile Lake - Mandra Lake, and the experienced climbed Parangul Peak Big.

The orientation test was to everyone's liking, but the most excited were the children, who participated in the team, not individually like the adults. With the help of the coordinates they had to find the lanterns hidden in the forest, and the climbing test was a lot of fun, the difficulty of the route being small, so that even the inexperienced managed to climb to the top of the cliff.

A special moment - as we organized in previous editions - was a marriage proposal, in front of everyone, at the campfire, with banners with various messages and good wishes.

At the cultural evening, the little ones and the big ones delighted the participants with folk music, poems and plays and with comic moments, where they laughed and sang until the morning.

The raffle made during the Mountain Sports Festival "Parangul Mare" was the delight of the third day, and the little ones were the most awarded of those who participated.

With the help of the rankings, made according to the tests and the scores obtained, consistent prizes were offered, thanks to the supporters.

Also during this festival, special prizes were awarded for various activities.
