The website www.drumetiimontane.ro is run by the „Drumeții Montane” Association (Romanian tax ID 27700553), with its registered office in Bucharest, District 3. This document sets out the rules for using the site and how we process the personal data of people who write to us, sign up as volunteers or fill in Form 230.

By using the site or sending a form you confirm that you have read this document. If you do not agree with it, please do not provide us with personal data.

Contact form: name, email, phone, subject and message. We use them to reply to you. The message reaches the association's email and an internal notification channel (Telegram) of the team.

Volunteer form: name, email, phone, town. We use them to confirm your email address and to let you know about projects and events you can join. Confirmation is done through a link sent by email; without it, the sign-up stays pending.

Form 230: the identification data required by the Romanian tax form (name, first name, father's initial, personal numeric code, address, phone, email) and your signature. We use them solely to generate the 230 request as a PDF, which we send to you and file with ANAF, the Romanian tax authority. The signature and the PDF are stored on the association's server, outside the public area of the site. If you tick “I agree to be contacted by the association”, we may email you about the association's activity; this option is separate and does not condition the filing of the form.

Newsletter: we only send messages to addresses that subscribed to one of our projects. Every message has an unsubscribe link; an unsubscribed address goes on an exclusion list and receives no more bulk messages, even if it were imported again.

Technical data: the IP address from which Form 230 was sent (to prevent abuse), web server logs and the cookies described in the Cookie policy.

We reply to messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with the people who write to us. The volunteer list and later contact rely on your consent, given by confirming your email address, which you can withdraw at any time. Form 230 is processed to fulfil a legal obligation (filing the request with ANAF) and on the basis of your explicit consent to the transmission of the data.

We keep contact messages and volunteer sign-ups for as long as the purpose they were sent for requires, or until you ask us to delete them. Forms 230 are kept for the period required by Romanian tax law.

We do not sell or rent personal data. The data in Form 230 is transmitted to ANAF, as the form requires. Emails are sent through email service providers (Google Workspace for correspondence, Amazon SES for the newsletter), acting as processors. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. We may disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.

You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to an automated decision. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing.

For any request write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro).

The site uses HTTPS, forms are protected against automated submissions, and the administration area requires a password and two-step authentication. Transmission of data over the internet cannot be fully guaranteed; once it reaches us, data is protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures.

The site content (texts, photos, materials) belongs to the „Drumeții Montane” Association or to the authors named and may be redistributed only with our written consent, except for quotations with the source indicated. The site may not be used to collect data about other users, to send unsolicited messages or to disrupt its operation.

The information you send us through forms must be true and complete. The association may refuse or delete a sign-up that does not meet these conditions.

The site is provided “as is”. We make every effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the site or the inability to use it, within the limits allowed by law.

We may update this document. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Using the site after changes are published means accepting them.
