World Environment Day in Targu Jiuwith the Mountain Hiking Association

The World Environment or Ecology Day, celebrated annually on June 5, is an occasion for joint events, designed to draw attention to the need to protect the environment.

On this occasion, the Mountain Hiking Association placed in the center of Targu Jiu a mini-photo exhibition with panoramas from the Parang Mountains. This photography exhibition aimed to promote and popularize sports tourism as an eco-friendly way of spending time and educating society in a green spirit - by getting involved in environmental-protective activities.

The exhibition was organized with the support of Gorj County Council and Targu Jiu City Hall.
