Awards Ceremony of the "Ștafeta Munților"National Sports Tourism Championship 2013

The "Ștafeta Munților" (Mountain Relay) National Sports Tourism Championship is a sports tourism competition, organised at national or international level, whose aim is to create the organisational and competitive framework for developing lasting relationships, based on eco-tourism, sporting and environmentally protective principles.
The overall ranking of this competition is made up exclusively of events that can be objectively quantified, and competitors have the opportunity to take part in the category corresponding to their age and level of training.
2013 was a very competitive year: 7 stages were organised, in which 68 clubs or groups of people took part, and the number of registered teams reached approximately 220.
The participants visited seven superb areas of Romania: Măgura Codlei, Polovragi, Dâmbu Morii, Munții Parâng, Munții Făgăraș, Masivul Postăvaru, Munții Șureanu.
The official events they took part in were: orienteering, mountain raid, theory tests, climbing, and each organising club could separately organise various activities such as: the cultural event, a football championship, surprise events, etc.
Because every championship must also have an awards ceremony, this year's honorary organiser, together with the organising clubs and those that took part this year, invites you to the AWARDS CEREMONY OF THE 2013 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, which will take place from 15 to 17 November 2013 in Brezoi, Vâlcea County, at the VALAHIA Tourist Complex, to applaud, congratulate and reward the most deserving among us, but also to compete in events that will bring out creativity and good cheer!
