Gorj Team Takes2nd Place Again

This weekend Gorj Team was present at the Albatros Trophy, an event organised in the Danube Delta, this year's stage VI within the Federation of Tourism and Ecology.
The camp was set up in the area of the Crișan – Caraorman sandbank, the crews being embarked at the Murighiol landing stage and transferred to the camp. This event took place over a period of 4 days, with over 200 people from all over the country taking part.
Although there were 14 registered crews, well prepared both mentally and physically, Gorj Team took 2nd place, with points accumulated from the following events: mountain cross-country, theory tests, cultural, surprise event, football, handball, climbing.
The participants from each team had the chance to prove their qualities in the events of orienteering, mountain cross-country, climbing, theory tests (flora, fauna, climate, first aid, utility mountaineering), the cultural evening (reciting a poem, singing the club's anthem plus 3 more songs of their choice, and a sketch on a mountain theme meant to amuse the audience in one way or another), football, handball, plus a few surprise events.
