The Gaska București Tourism Association is organising, from 24 to 26 February 2017, in the resort of Sărata Monteoru – Hotel Ceres, the 3rd edition of the chalet competitions called IARNA PE ULITA (Winter in the Village Lane).

Saturday 25 February 2017
08:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast
09:30 – 11:30 – Display of the photography and ecological poster entries.
10:30 - Surprise tourist orienteering (non-competitive, fun surprise challenges)
12:00 – 16:00 – Judging of the displayed works
15:00 - End of the surprise tourist orienteering event
15:30 – Free time (swimming pool, whist ...)
19:30 – Posting of the partial results
20:30 – 21:30 - Dinner
22:00 – Dance competition (rock and roll party)

09:30 – Posting of the final results
12:00 – 13:30 – Awards ceremony (with kisses and photos)
13:30 – Check-out and departure of the participants
RULES
The competition is open to all sports tourism clubs and associations, as well as to those who wish to take part even if they are not members of an association, and will include the following events:
– Photography - 6 colour photographs, minimum size A4 - maximum size A3. The set of 6 photographs will include winter landscapes
– Ecological poster - 1 work, A3 size.
– Slide-show – at least 30 photographs set to music, lasting approximately 5 minutes. Presentations must be ppt, pps or exe, compatible with Office XP and Office 2007, and are recommended not to exceed 100MB;
We ask clubs to bring their presentations on USB memory sticks or CD-DVD and, as a backup option, to send the slide show by email:
The order of entry into the competition will be decided by drawing lots during the event.
– Dance competition
- dancing will be to several musical rhythms, with varied songs
- the first songs will be eliminatory, requiring a few breaks for judging, with the less prepared couples being eliminated
- rock and roll costume compulsory.
– Surprise Tourist Orienteering
- participation is in teams of 3 athletes, with no age or gender limit
- each team must have a mobile phone or a photo/video camera capable of filming and taking photos.
- to get from one checkpoint to the next, certain obstacles will have to be overcome.
All team members are required to go through these challenges, alone or with the team's help
- if one of the team members gives up or fails to pass those challenges on the orienteering course, the team is disqualified
- the competition is won by the team that demonstrates the strongest team spirit, the best score and a high level of originality, and whose members all manage (by various more or less conventional methods) to get past all the obstacles together
ATTENTION!
The programme and the rules may change depending on the number of participants and the running of the events.
ACCOMMODATION
At Hotel Ceres, in the resort of Sărata Monteoru, as follows:
- The cost of a stay is 190 lei/person and includes: 2 nights' accommodation in a double room, breakfast and dinner, and free access to the hotel's swimming pool.
- For children between 5 and 14 years, an extra bed is paid for at 20 lei/day, and if half board is also wanted - 25 lei/day
- Accommodation will be provided subject to availability, in the order of confirmations.
For the good organisation of the whole event, the organisers ask each club/group to confirm the number of participants as soon as possible and to pay in advance a deposit of 100 lei
