Anniversary event organised by the "Via-Retezat" Mountain Tourism Association on the occasion of its 10 years of activity.
On this occasion we, the organisers and partners of the event – the "Via-Retezat" Mountain Tourism Association, EcoSportClub Vâlcea, Pensiunea Dora, Victoria Brașov, the "Retezat Între Pământ și Cer" Association and Clif Alpin Râușor – invite you to join us: for fun, for the DIDI.RO orienteering competition, for a photo competition on the theme "Retezat – the Enchanted Land with Blue Eyes", for a friendly chat, good music and dancing at the Apreski Clif Alpin, and for walks in nature. And if winter turns out to be late, our partner Clif Alpin Râușor invites us to ski and sledge on the wonderful and unique Râușor ski area, at the foot of Retezat peak, floodlit for night skiing and lovingly maintained.

Photo competition.
Theme: "Retezat – the Enchanted Land with Blue Eyes".
Those who wish to take part in this event can send one or two photographs to the email address: [email protected]
The photographs will be collected and printed by the organisers, and the judging will take place on Friday 12 April and Saturday 13 April, by all the participants in the event. Each photograph will be marked with a number so that it can be identified. This way, members of the organising club can also enter the competition. Based on the result, the winners will be announced at the party on Saturday evening. After the party ends, as a memento of this wonderful event, the photographs will remain on display in the exhibition building (Apreski Clif Alpin), where they can be admired by all the tourists who cross its threshold.
Special offer put together for the event:
Accommodation (2 nights) + delicious, plentiful meals, even better than at mum's (breakfast, lunch and dinner) = 275 lei per person (until 25 March, paid in full)
From 26 March the full price is 350 lei per person.
For children:
- under 5 years, included in the parents' price. - between 5 and 10 years, half price: 140 lei until 25 March / 180 lei from 26 March, for 2 nights plus meals.
- from 11 years, full price.

Friday 12 April:
17:00 – 22:00 Check-in and evening meal with a hearty main course and a delicious dessert with a MOUNTAIN flavour
18:00 – Display of the photographs from the themed competition "Retezat – the Enchanted Land with Blue Eyes".
20:00 - Campfire with spontaneous activities (music over a friendly chat)
Saturday 13 April:
08:00 – 10:00 Hearty breakfast for an energy boost. Outdoor activity.
10:00 – Orienteering. Details on categories and courses will follow, depending on the number of entries. (Park Tour România stage)
13:00 – 15:00 Lunch consisting of a "bring-me-more" soup and a healthy portion of main course. But first of all, for those who wish and fancy it, the organisers offer a little glass of "cheer" à la Via-Retezat, since we are celebrating.
14:00 – 18:00 Outdoor activity, skiing, sledging, a walk in nature / a short mountain trail.
18:00 - 20:00 Evening meal. A hearty dinner consisting of the main course and a finger-licking anniversary dessert – the famous apple cake à la Dora!
20:00 – 00:00 Party: 80s Disco. Awards for the winners of the Photo Competition "Retezat – the Enchanted Land with Blue Eyes".
Sunday 14 April:
08:00 – 10:00 Healthy breakfast with a hot coffee, to keep us energised all day… or at least until we get home.
10:00 Check-out, departure for home
Thank you for taking part in the events organised by the "Via-Retezat" Mountain Tourism Association and our wonderful partners, alongside whom we have the opportunity to present this extraordinary area of the Retezat Mountains. And in the summer we await you with open arms at the Via-Retezat Trophy, so that you too can enjoy the route proposed by us, the lovers of the Retezat mountains; you will surely fall in love too, if you haven't already, with the majestic rocks that appear at every step and the crystal-clear lakes.
