Dear mountain lovers, the time has come for you to be rewarded for the effort you have put in this year, in the stages organised under the aegis of Ștafeta Munților (the Mountain Relay). It is time for you to be awarded, praised and pampered, a time for reunions and stories. As mountain folk are not fond of too many pompous words, let us waste no more time and present to you in detail the arrangements and programme of the Prize-Giving Ceremony of the ȘTAFETA MUNȚILOR National Championship 2014:
VENUE: - the Casa Bella tourist complex – located in the village of Bughea de Sus, just 7 km from Câmpulung

PROGRAMME:
FRIDAY – 14 November:
12:00 – 20:00: Arrival and accommodation of the guests
20:00 – 21:00: Mountain folk's dinner
21:00 – 03:00: Campfire by the swing seats, watered with mulled wine and hot țuică and kept going with guitar songs
SATURDAY – 15 November:
08:00 – 09:00: Breakfast
09:00 – 10:00: Registration for the special events
10:00 – 12:00: Inter-club mixed Football Championship
12:00 – 14:00: Table Tennis Championship
14:00 – 15:00: Lunch
15:30 – 17:00: Climbing and/or Orienteering Competition
17:00 – 19:00: Billiards and/or Whist Competition
19:00 – 20:00: Dinner
20:30 – 22:30: PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY of the ȘTAFETA MUNȚILOR Championship
23:00 – 05:00: Masked ball, Friendship Raffle, dance contest, costume contest and surprise events.
SUNDAY – 16 November:
10:00 – 11:00: Wake-up meal
12:00 – 15:00: Departure of the guests
IMPORTANT DETAILS
- Please keep a huge smile on your face throughout the weekend so as not to sadden the other guests!
- Please, should you at any point have magic potions in your hand, share them with the other participants so as not to intimidate them!
- Please behave in a manner worthy of a true mountain lover so as not to frighten the wild animals around the complex!
- Please do not bring drinks of any kind into the complex; everything you could wish for you will find in the complex at more than acceptable prices.
- For the masked ball, this year's theme will be: DISNEY WORLD, so we insistently and politely ask you to respect the theme and ALL come suitably dressed up, only as characters from Disney creations!
- For the Friendship Raffle, please each bring a WRAPPED gift with no marks or writing on it. Children up to 14 will bring age-appropriate gifts, as a separate raffle will be organised for them.
- In all the sporting events contested in teams, the teams will be made up of members of several clubs; there will be no club-against-club competition. The rules of the sporting events will be presented to you on Saturday morning. Please bring suitable sports equipment with you; boots are strictly forbidden this time!
COSTS: The price for taking part in this event is only 80 lei / person / night (accommodation and meals)
BOOKINGS: For bookings, a 50% deposit must be paid by 10 October 2014! The deposit is to be paid into the account: RO18 RZBR 0000 0600 1360 2670 opened at Raiffeisen Pitești, account holder: Codrea Ionel Dragoș.
The complex has a limited number of places in 3-bed rooms, so, in order of registration, each club will initially receive 10 places, after which we will redistribute according to requests. It is therefore possible that you may have to sleep 2 to a bed, but given how much we hope you will be sleeping, we do not think you will see this as a negative. So that nobody takes offence, these rules will apply to EVERYONE without exception. The price remains the same for everyone even if you sleep 2 to a bed.
MEALS: so that you do not have to bring food from tens of km away, we offer you the following menu:
Friday evening: lamb cooked in a cauldron with polenta and pickles
Saturday breakfast: telemea cheese, butter, jam, eggs, tomatoes, tea, coffee
Saturday lunch: chicken noodle soup, sarmale (cabbage rolls) with polenta and peppers
Saturday evening: grilled trout with Muntenian bulz (polenta with cheese), apple pie
Sunday wake-up meal: sour chicken soup and peasant-style tochitură (pork stew)
BAR PRICES:
- Ciuc, Ursus, Timișoreana beer – 0.5 l – 3 lei
- Coca-Cola range soft drinks – 0.5 l – 3 lei
- Harghita water – 0.5 l – 1.5 lei
- mulled wine – 0.25 l mug – 3 lei
ATTENTION:
If you follow a special diet, please let us know in advance so that we can find a suitable food arrangement for all participants. Likewise, for any other products you would like to find at the bar, please send us a list with estimated quantities so that we can ask the complex to stock up accordingly.
Remember that participation is optional, but if you have decided to take part, you will automatically have to comply fully with the above requirements, out of respect and solidarity towards the other guests.
We have no doubt that all true mountain folk will be present, so all that remains is to wish you a good journey to the complex, and do not forget that we await you with open arms as always!
