Launch of the Voluntarpentru Viitor Web Page

On 25 September, starting at 12:00, at the Târgu Jiu Youth Centre, the Drumeții Montane Association is organising a press conference concerning the VOLUNTAR PENTRU VIITOR (Volunteer for the Future) project, funded by the National Authority for Sport and Youth.
This conference will discuss: the launch of the website www.voluntaringorj.ro, improving the website, promotion strategies, and ways of using it.
Active organisations in Gorj county, as well as people who want to find out more about the Voluntar pentru Viitor project, are invited to take part in this event.
As you well know, at the level of Gorj county there is no interactive database comprising the young people interested in taking part in volunteering activities, as well as the youth organisations that carry out such activities. Therefore, the Drumeții Montane Association has created an online database, which can be accessed at www.voluntaringorj.ro, where people interested in volunteering activities can register as volunteers on the website, and active organisations can get in touch with potential volunteers through the website.
At present there are 487 volunteers on this website who can be contacted by email or phone, and another 57 who can be contacted only by phone.
By creating this web page we want to increase the number of volunteers and register them according to the field in which they wish to be active, and young people in Gorj will be able to be informed in real time about the various activities organised in the county.
Come on 25 September, starting at 12:00, to the Târgu Jiu Youth Centre located at 132-134 Victoriei Street, 3rd floor, Gorj county (in the Inspectorate building) to take part in this event.
