Photo Exhibition in theCentre of Târgu Jiu

On 20 April 2012, the Drumeții Montane Association set up in the centre of the city of Târgu Jiu an information point about the "Transalpin" Mountain Sports Festival, whose main aim is to promote and popularise sports tourism as an eco-friendly way of spending free time, to raise the level of knowledge of the tourism potential created by the existence of the "Transalpina" route, to educate society in a green spirit – through involvement in environmentally protective activities – and also to promote the Transalpina. At the same time, an alarm was raised to citizens, as this route risks becoming a rubbish bin; education in a green spirit is needed – taking part in as many environmental activities as possible being necessary.
On this occasion the association's members also put on a small photo exhibition with landscapes found along the "Transalpina" route, so that passers-by could see how beautiful the places in this area are.
