Sports Tourism is an activity that takes place both in summer and in winter in tourist areas of Romania.
The aim of these tourism and ecology actions is to engage as many young people as possible in practising tourism and in activities concerning the protection of the environment, and in displaying their qualities, each in the field that suits them best.
Every year the Romanian Federation of Tourism and Ecology organises a National Championship, intended for all tourism clubs in Romania, with the aim of raising the quality level of the tourism, cultural, sporting and ecological movement, and of fostering respect and fair play between clubs and their members.
All tourism clubs are entitled to take part in this Championship, but only clubs affiliated to the F.R.T.E. will be scored and awarded prizes in the overall ranking.
The White Wolf Baia de Fier and "Drumeții Montane" Association organisations were supported by S.C. Ch-Net S.R.L, the Administration of the Nordul Gorjului de Vest Natura 2000 site, Agenția Happy Turism, Cabana Peștera Muierilor, Casa Bobo, Euro Park.
