The Târgu Jiu Forestry District supports the initiative of the Drumeții Montane Association to plant trees in the town of Târgu Jiu, between the Jiete (approximately 3 km from Kaufland). We look forward to seeing you alongside us on 31 March at 10:00 to plant trees!
This year the volunteers of the Drumeții Montane Association will kick off the tree planting in the Municipality of Târgu Jiu.
Pupils are expected from the following high schools: Grup Școlar Energetic Nr. 1 (Energy School Group No. 1) – coordinated by Murarita Daniel and Parvulescu Marinela; the Ecaterina Teodoroiu National College – coordinated by teachers Olaru Valentin, Valceanu Mihai and Tulpan Ofelia; Technical College No. 2, coordinated by pedagogue Diaconescu Mirela and teacher Baluta Daniela; they will try to plant as many trees as possible, and we hope the weather will be on our side.
