The "Drumeții Montane" Association, as HONORARY ORGANISER, together with all the clubs taking part in ȘTAFETA MUNȚILOR (the Mountain Relay), has the great pleasure of inviting you to the PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY OF THE ȘTAFETA MUNȚILOR COMPETITION, 1ST EDITION, 2012.
The event will take place on 16–18 November 2012, at Hotel Traian in the resort of Călimănești – Căciulata.
We look forward to seeing you, to applaud, congratulate and reward the most deserving among us, but also to compete in events that will highlight creativity and good cheer!
All tourism clubs in the country are invited to take part in this event, both those participating in and those not affiliated to the "ȘTAFETA MUNȚILOR" COMPETITION.
People who are interested in ECO TOURISM may also take part in this event.

20:00 – awaiting, welcoming and accommodating the participants at Hotel Traian
20:00 – registration of participants for Saturday's activities
SATURDAY 17.11.2012
10:00 – Meeting of the representatives of the clubs/groups taking part in the competition
The agenda includes:
1) A short review of the "Ștafeta Munților" competition, 1st edition, 2012;
2) Presentation of the changes made to the rules on the basis of the proposals put forward by the clubs taking part in the 1st edition;
3) Setting the competition calendar for 2013;
At this meeting each club/group is represented by 2 people
10:30:
- Visiting the tourist attractions of the Călimănești – Căciulata resort
- Introduction to Oină – the National Sport of the Romanians;
- Darts Championship
- Backgammon Championship
- Whist Championship
- Surprise events
13:00 – Lunch break
14:30 – Tourist orienteering (please bring a compass each)
17:30 – Video presentations made by the participating Clubs/Persons; (maximum 5 minutes)
18:00 – Prize-giving ceremony of the "Ștafeta Munților" National Competition, 1st Edition, 2012
21:30 – Fancy-dress ball (carnival costume parade, raffle – the ticket needed to take part in the raffle consists of an object worth 5–10 lei, which must be wrapped/packaged, couples' dance contest, cabin games, surprise events)

Access routes:
The hotel is located in the centre of the Călimănești – Căciulata resort, 559 Calea lui Traian Street, Vâlcea County.
The cost of a stay is 120 lei and includes: 2 nights' accommodation, double room (a maximum of 2 people per room, so each person will have to pay 60 lei for 2 nights' accommodation). (there are no more rooms available; those who wish to attend the ceremony are asked to find their own accommodation)
For the good organisation of the whole event, the organisers request confirmation of the number of participants from each club/group as soon as possible and advance payment of a deposit of 60 lei into the account: RO71 RZBR 0000 0600 1072 4211 opened at Raiffeisen Bank in the name of Canavoiu Alexandru, by Friday 02.11.2012 inclusive. Any payment of the participation deposit must be confirmed by telephone on 0762325903. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
