Stage II of the "Ștafeta Munților" (Mountain Relay) Sports Tourism Championship, organised by the "Cocoșul de Munte" Mountain Tourism Association of Brașov, a Master-type stage held near Cabana Muntele Roșu in Masivul Ciucaș, had 94 teams at the start.
Over 500 people from 21 tourism clubs in Romania took part in this event.
The most sought-after categories at this stage were Open, with 33 teams registered, and Family, with 23 teams registered, in which the participants covered a wonderful route. The other categories were not to be overlooked either: the Juniors Category (8 teams registered), the Women's Category (8 teams registered), the Elite Category (14 teams registered), the Veterans Category (8 teams registered).
The cultural event on Saturday evening was the one most eagerly awaited by all participants; ten clubs each presented an artistic moment made up of a play, the recitation of a poem and guitar songs. This event was decisive for those who were tied and, thanks to it, the places in the ranking were changed.

The next stage will be organised from 15 to 17 July 2016 in Bucegi Natural Park, with the camp in Bran, in the village of Poarta, next to the Zănoaga ski slope; it is a Master-type stage and is organised by the Gașka Bucharest Tourism Association.
