The Drumeții Montane Associationat Rando Carpați 2011

This weekend the Drumeții Montane Association took part in the Rando Carpați 2011 competition, organised at Baia de Fier, Gorj County.
Although the weather was unfavourable for a mountain hike, this did not discourage the participants. The participants had to choose to take part in one of the categories: Hiking or Sport.
The category in which the members of the Drumeții Montane Association took part was Hiking, where they had to cover a tourist route in a maximum of 5 hours and answer 15 general knowledge questions about the geography and history of the place. To the organisers' amazement, they answered 14 of the 15 questions in the record time of 1 minute and 5 seconds, thus winning 1st place in this category.
