From 2 to 4 October, the "Tu ești viitorul României" (You Are the Future of Romania) project took place, a project carried out by the Drumeții Montane Association in partnership with the Gorj County Directorate for Youth.
The main aim of the project was to test the general knowledge of young people in schools in Gorj.
So far, the members of the Drumeții Montane Association have visited several high schools in Gorj, where they tested the pupils' general knowledge with questions from various fields. The results did not live up to the organisers' expectations, but they encouraged all the pupils who answered the questions correctly by offering them a prize on the spot.
The Drumeții Montane Association intends to continue this project in 2012 as well, hoping to obtain much better results.
The Drumeții Montane Association is made up of young people passionate about mountains, nature, eco-tourism and environmental protection, and if you would like to be part of our team you can contact us via the form on the website www.drumetiimontane.ro, where you can also study in more detail the activities we have carried out so far.
