The largest ecological education project in Romania!Within this project, more than 1,050 partnerships were signed with m...
The number of schools enrolled in the project in 2018 was 560, and 3,000 teachers became volunteers of the Drumeții Montane Association and organised a variety of ecological and cultural activities to promote a healthy lifestyle among children.
Parents understood that their child's involvement in extracurricular activities is beneficial for his or her personal development and encouraged teachers to organise as many activities as possible.
As every year, the Eco Junior project is organised by volunteers. The Drumeții Montane Association thanks the teachers and schools that got involved and who showed that, to them, their pupils are like their own children.
The Eco Junior project aims to promote an attitude of respect towards the environment, to raise children's awareness of the need to protect ecosystems, to develop an ecological spirit, to research, study, make use of and defend the environment, and to have the teachers involved develop cultural programmes together with the volunteers of the Drumeții Montane Association.
